ESSENCE OF ISLAM -an 8 week study circle

 

First session: 12th Feb 2010, 7pm

Location: Unitec / Gate 4 [Carrington Rd, Mt Albert]

There will be guides positioned at the gate from 6:40 to 6:55pm

What do the Six Principles of Faith include?

What do the five pillars mean over and beyond the ritual actions?

What are the Two Principles of Islam?

What is the Triune Model of Islam

 

An 8-week journey into what Islam is really all about

From the basic elements to some profound thought provoking propositions from Islam, the Essence of

Islam Study Circle is aimed to break misconceptions, reinforce Islamic Principles and shed proper light on

what Islam really is.

Fresh from presenting at the Parliament of World Religions, Imam Afroz Ali will be posing and answering questions throughout the 8 week course; participants are invited to pose questions for comment each week whether directly or indirectly related to the subject matter. 

 

Cost: $40 for full study circle [includes certificate for full attendance] / $5 for a casual session
