Mustafa Davis Visits Auckland

Sidi Mustafa Davis, renowned filmmaker and photographer, will be visiting Auckland on 7-10 October as part of an Asia tour that has been extended to Australia and NZ.
Mustafa will host screenings of his exclusive films and post-film discussions on ‘hot’ issues related to Islam and Western society. He will also be hosted at special youth and converts’ programs where he hopes to hear from youths and converts about their issues, views and hopes.
The Auckland Mustafa Davis Tour is hosted by the Muslim Youth Advisory Council. Below is a detailed timetable:
Friday October 7th
“Wayward Son” Film Screening

Saturday October 8th
Behind The Lens – Film and Photography Workshop
Time: 9am – 5pm
Venue: Auckland City Library, 46 Lorne Street, Auckland City
Price: $35.00 – food inclusive
Sunday October 9th
“Creative, Young and Muslim – Being a NZ Muslim” Workshop
Time: 10am – 4pm
Venue: Roskill Youth Zone – Behind Wesley Community Centre, Mt Roskill
Price: Gold Coin Donation. Food Inclusive.
Monday October 10th
“The Warm Heart of Africa” Film Screening
Time: 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm
Venue: Rialto Cinema, 167 Broadway, Newmarket
Price: Adult $15; Student $10
